An Overdue Proposal

When Dax proposed to me, we were at home. There was no sun, sand or wine, no steak, no candle lit dinner but it was New year's eve, a few minutes more and the sky will be lit with fireworks. There was a 15 month old baby, a 20 month old marriage, and a church wedding a planning. It was the second happiest day of my life, first being when Dylan was born.

His marriage proposal may have been way way overdue, and while the atmosphere may not have been the most magical, despite having lots of engagement ring to choose from, his choice most certainly was a white gold band with a beautiful diamond. Dax made the perfect choice for what I intend to be my first and last engagement ring.
